One of the most famous motorway bridges in England is upgraded with a high anti-climb fence in a bid to prevent people taking their own lives.  Within 3 years, the upgrades deteriorated beyond repair due to Vortex Induced Oscillation.

Fraser Avenue and Richardson Place Apartments could be anywhere yet are incredibly well suited to where they actually are.  The Tenure-Blind approach celebrates the similarities of residents and combats socio-spatial segregation, with a design that blurs the lines between social and private housing to recognise the universal need for good housing.

The refurbished Litchfield Towers features a welcoming facade, with louvres finished in a Metwood powder coat, grounding the building in the surrounding nature.  It’s peaceful and playful in equal measure, making for a perfect home for the retirees looking to relax.  

And possibly cause a little mischief, too. 

Cadness Street N30 Apartments fuse an array of Insol products, fitting them together in differing arrangements and colours to create design lines which section off the visuals to more immediate, bite-sized pieces.  It’s an approach that works incredibly well, producing social housing with a high-end feel that feels like it belongs.

Proxima Residences uses louvers to blend the facade from section to section where, like conjunctions in a passage of text, they take the reader on a journey that reveals the architectural intent. 

Paying homage to the history of the location and sympathetic to the adaptive reuse of the old aircraft hanger next-door, Catalina Bay Apartments offer a unique waterfront location that visually anchors the village to come.  

The Auckland International Airport Transport Hub is arguably the busiest in the country and any from the perforated facade would create a significant and embarrassing problem for our gateway to the world. 

A series of aluminium tubes wrap around the corner of a high end apartment complex.  The arrangement of the tubes sets alarm bells ringing. But would that be the only sound?
